Billie Gene Brown

Chico~ Billie Gene Brown, Sr., 85, went to be with our Lord Friday, July 31, 2020 in Garland.

Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Rev. Fred Raney will officiate.

Pallbearers are to include Jim Brown, John T. Brown, Raymond Brown, Bryan Mueller, Jimmy “Bugs” McDaniel, and Cody Deaton.

Billie was born November 5, 1934 to Raymond and Emma (Worthington) Brown in Pottsboro, Texas. He was united in marriage to Beatrice Jane Morris and together for 35 years until her passing in April of 2005. Billie was a retired truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beatrice Brown; his son, Billie G. Brown Jr.; and his grandson, Frank Elenburg.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Lori Pardo Cole of Nashville, Tennessee, Stacie Torres of Garland, and Tracie Costanza of Bridgeport; his sons, John T. Brown and wife Barbara of Mesquite, and Raymond Brown of Hurst; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren; his brother, Jimmie Paul Brown and wife Fifi of Bridgeport; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
