Dwain Nolan Jones

Sunset ~ Dwain Nolan Jones, 73, went to be with our Lord Thursday, July 9, 2020 in Decatur.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Alvord with burial in Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Bill Cleveland will officiate. Pallbearers will be the First Baptist of Alvord deacons.

Dwain was born November 19, 1946 to Jesse Jones, Jr. and Laverna (Perkins) Jones in Decatur, Texas. He was united in marriage June 22, 1967 to Rosemary Gilmer in Dallas, Texas. Dwain retired from Bell Helicopter after more than 30 years where he manufactured aircraft parts. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Alvord.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years, Rosemary Jones; his daughter, Angela Cottrell and husband Brett of London, Arkansas; 2 grandsons, Benjamin and Matthew of London, Arkansas; his brother, Roger Jones and wife Louella of Alvord; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
