Janis Eileen (Decker) Wilson

Haslet ~ Janis Eileen Wilson, 65, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 at her home in Haslet, Texas among family and friends.

Graveside service is 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2017 at Dido Cemetery in Fort Worth.

Phillip Weitner will officiate.

Janis was born on April 13, 1951 in Springfield, Illinois to Almeda (Beams) and Charles Decker.  She was united in marriage to John (Johnny) Wilson on March 2, 1990 in Hurst, Texas.

Janis enlisted and served in the United States Navy.  Afterwards, she worked in the computer industry where she met her husband.  After retiring on her 50th birthday, she spent her time traveling, visiting with family and enjoying time with her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Decker.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 26 years, John (Johnny) Wilson of Haslet; her daughter, Andrea Sarginson and husband Roger; her son, Luke Perry and wife Michelle; her stepdaughters, Michelle Krogsgaard and husband Larry and Rachel Herrera and husband Paul; her grandchildren, Tayah, Annabelle, Tucker, Rebecca, Cole, Kelsey, Chelsea, Kilah, and PJ; her great grandchildren, Brayden, Christian, Kenlie Rae, and Taylin; her mother, Almeda Decker; her sisters, Bonnie Hunter and husband Ray, Theresa Scott and husband Steve, and Tracy Decker; her brothers, Steve Decker and wife Nancy, Jeff Decker and wife Diane, Rodney Decker, Kevin Decker and wife Ginger; her sister in heart, Nancy Beams Bryant; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
