FORT WORTH -- Our beloved Decatur State Farm agent Jerry R. Bohn, 65, succumbed to a valiant battle with cancer early Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, at his residence in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Coker-Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Oaklawn Cemetery. The Reverend Jerry Miller officiated. Pallbearers were Ron Cagle, Richard Willcox, Paul Poston, Jack Delpapa, Eric Vincent, Bill James.

Jerry was born Aug. 27, 1941, to Wesley Frank and Addie Mae McCullough Bohn in Dallas. He married Jeanie Pendleton on Oct. 7, 1995 in Fort Worth. Jerry served his country in the U.S. Navy and was President of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.
Survivors include His dedicated wife, Jeanie of Ft.Worth; sons, J.R. Bohn Jr. of Graham, Cary Frank Bohn of North Richland Hills and Steven Eugene Sweatt of Arlington; daughter, Cheri' Lou Bohn-Beazley of Elkins, Ark. and his mother, Addie Blackwell and her husband, Sam, of Decatur. He left us all with an overwhelming legacy of 14 grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.
