Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 Sunday, September 1, 2019 at St John The Baptizer Catholic Church with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Visitation and Rosary 6:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Father Reehan Soosai Anthony will officiate. Pallbearers include Jose Antonio Cano, Mario Alberto Cano, Daniel Cano, Miguel Angel Cano, Valentin Chavez, Atanacio Chavez, Juan Carlos Cano, and Antonio Cano.
Juan was born on January 12, 1976 to Antonio Cano Silva and Francisca Chavez in San Luis, Potosi, Mexico. He was united in marriage to Melissa Gamino on April 8, 2000 in Decatur and a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Marry Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Cano Silva.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Melissa Cano of Bridgeport; 4 sons, Juan Carlos Cano, Antonio Cano, Alexander Cano, and Alexis Cano; his daughter, Jocelyn Cano; his mother, Francisca Chavez of Rio Verde, Mexico; 4 brothers, Jose Antonio Cano and wife Monica of Bedford, Mario Alberto Cano of Reno, Daniel Cano and wife Marisol of Bridgeport, and Miguel Angel Cano of Rio Verde, Mexico; his sister, Rosa Angelica Cano and husband Juan Zuniga of Bridgeport; his uncles, Valentin and Atanacio Chavez; other relatives and a host of friends.
