Bridgeport ~ Karla Dean O'Dell, 66, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in Dallas.
Graveside service is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate. Pallbearers include Mike Richardson, Don Reynolds, Pam Hay, Shelly Pearcy, and Bill Hallum.
Karla was born on March 31, 1947 to L.D. and Ruby (Bevins) Greene in Plainview, Texas. She was united in marriage to Charles O'Dell on October 10, 1962 in Bridgeport.
Karla was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Lela Jo Hallum, and Shirley Ann Reynolds; her aunt, Peggy Jo Greene; and her uncle, Herbert Carlton.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, Charles O'Dell of Bridgeport; her son, Charles Eric O'Dell of Bridgeport; her brother, Jimmy Dale Greene of Tawakoni, Texas; her niece, Shelly Thomas Pearcy of Mineral Wells, other family members, and a host of friends.
