Chico ~ Ninfa Lopez, 37, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Monday, August 7, 2017 in Decatur.
Funeral is 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in the Mexican Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Rev. Melvin Castleberry will officiate. Pallbearers include Juan Rodriguez, Cecil Rodriguez, Matthew Carter, Jacob Carter, Guadalupe Hernandez, Austin Higgins, Bobby Seelye, and Luis Trujillo. Honorary pallbearers are Liandro Lopez and Vincent Leonard.
Ninfa was born on June 21, 1980 to Victor and Rose Mary Osteguin in Decatur, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her son, Shawn Douglas Lopez; and her grandparents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Curtis Keener of Chico; her granddaughter, Bexley Shawn Lopez of Chico; her parents, Rose Mary and Victor Osteguin of Chico; her brothers, Vincent Leonard of Boyd, and Liandro Lopez of Chico; her sisters, Shirley Herrera of Decatur, Sarah Jackson and Alan Turner of Mansfield, Lisa Marshall of Chico, Blanca Lopez and Lance Allison of Perin; Vicky Lopez and Guadalupe Hernandez of Chico; her grandmother, Jauna Osteguin of Mexico; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
