Richard Lee Morrison

Bridgeport ~ Lee Morrison, 46, a field compressor mechanic, went to be with our Lord Friday, December 5, 2014 in Floydada, Texas.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Rev. Justin Harris will officiate. Honorary pallbearers are Stephen Brattis, Jason Brattis, Terry Cantwell, Jerry Cantwell, Scooter Surber, Hagen Davis, Garon Davis, and Devon Davis.

Lee was born November 20, 1968 to Joe and Katherine (Taylor) Morrison in Fort Worth. He was united in marriage to China Yarbrough on March 23, 2002 in Tarrant County. Lee worked for Enlink Midstream.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Greg Morrison; his nephew, Dalton Anderson; maternal and paternal grandparents.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 12 years, China Morrison of Bridgeport; his daughter, China Brattis of Bridgeport; his mother, Katherine Cooper and husband Jerry of Graham; his father, Joe Morrison and wife Katie of Bowie; his daughter, Brandi Davis and husband Ricky of Chico; his son, Stephen Brattis of Bridgeport; his sister, Suzanne Surber and husband Scooter of Katy; his brothers, Terry Cantwell and wife Kim of Bowie, Jerry Cantwell and wife Kristen of Bowie; his grandchildren, Hagen, Garon, Devon, and Landon; his nieces and nephews, Sawncy, Sabrina, Kendall and husband Seth, Cooper, and Kamryn; a host of extended family and friends.
