Rodney Len Hollis

Roanoke ~ Rodney Len Hollis, 55, went to be with our Lord Sunday, June 20. 2021.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.

Cody Bailey will officiate. Pallbearers will include David Sherman, Brad McCormick, Charles Jobe, Scotty Jobe, Scott Reaves, and Charles Hollis. Honorary pallbearer is Dave Finnessey.

Rodney was born July 5, 1965 to Walter C. and Joyce Beth (Watson) Hollis in Decatur. He was a graduate of Decatur High School and was employed by CEVA Logistics as a senior customer service manager, also a member of Compass Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Joyce Hollis; his brother, Robbie Lee Green; his uncle, James C. Hollis, and aunt Daisy Marsh.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his cousins, Charles Hollis and wife Paula, Don and Angela Cantrell, Scott and Mitzi Reaves, Kevin Hollis, Richard and Charlene Hollis, Vickie McGuire, Melanie Marsh, Daniel Marsh, Shela Meadow, Marvin Marsh, and Teresa Robertson; extended family members and a host of friends.
