Shanda Michelle Pewitt

Bridgeport ~ Shanda Michelle Pewitt, 49, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, October 10, 2023 in Decatur.

Shanda was born on March 13, 1974 to James Lee and Sandra Jean (Parish) Post in Dallas. She was united in marriage to Christopher Pewitt on May 29, 2021 in Bridgeport. Shanda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a friend to many that will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; her aunts; her uncles; and one grandson.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Christopher Pewitt; 3 daughters, Parish Olivia Post, Jessica Ella Guevara, and Emily Michelle Holsted; her step-daughter, Sarah Poeling; her step-son, Nathan Pewitt; 4 grandchildren; 4 sisters; her father-in-law, Paul Pewitt and wife Patty; her mother-in-law, Ella Plowman; other relatives and a host of friends.
