Bridgeport ~ Agnes Catherine Ruechel, 87, a housewife, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, December 14, 2011 in Decatur.
Service will be in the spring of 2012 in Ontonagon, Michigan.
Agnes was born on January 26, 1924 to Peter and Rose (Hibbeln) Wagner in Ontonagon, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lorn Witt; her husband, Adolph Ruechel; her granddaughter, Carla Weber; her sisters, Celia, Margaret, and Dorothy and her brothers, Edward, Paul, and Richard.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Penny Borstad and husband Karl of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Barbara Fritsche and husband Don of Runaway Bay, Linda Morrow and husband Ralph of Bridgeport, Bernice Ayers of Ocalal, Florida, Joyce Hippert of North Carolina, and Oma Mae Evans of Conley, Georgia; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; her brother, Carl Wagner and wife Mary Elizabeth of Lansing, Michigan; her sister in law, Mary Wagner of Ironwood, Michigan; other family members and a host of friends.
