Alvord ~ Aisha Sheaona Sidney Bryant, 16, a student at Alvord High School, went to be with our Lord Friday, May 25, 2012 in Decatur.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 28th at Sunset Assembly of God Church with burial in Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Pastor Ernie Patterson, Pastor Chad Patterson, and Pastor Mickey Terry will officiate. Pallbearers include Josh Jones, Trevor Chandler, Bryant Standridge, Steven Zwahr, Avery Barnes, and Jon Zwahr.
Aisha was born on June 2, 1995 to Sidney and Shonda (Mathews) Bryant in Denton. She was part of the Alvord Band and Athletics. Aisha was a member of the FCCLA and Sunset Assembly of God Church. She worked at Sean's BBQ and Plaza Cinema IV.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her mother, Shonda Mathews Stroud and her husband Kenneth of Alvord; her father, Sidney Bryant of Decatur; her sisters, Ava Shanea Mathews Bryant and Dayssi Tyne Memphis Hall, both of Alvord; her grandparents, Sheryl and Steve Zwahr, Wade and Tammy Mathews, both of Alvord; her great grandparents, J.B. and Jean Barnes of Alvord, Cynthia and Tom Dooley of Bowie, Melton and Peggy Zwahr of Houston; other family members and a host of friends.
