PARADISE -- Alan DeWitt Matzinger, 61, an estimater for Ideal Printers, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007, in Bridgeport.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home. Burial: Paradise Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Officiator: Bro. George Gray.
Alan was born on March 11, 1945, in New Orleans, La., to Irv and Mildred Stanfield Matzinger. He was preceded in death by his father, Irv, in 2003.
Survivors: mother, Mildred Matzinger of Bridgeport; brother, Dan Matzinger and wife, Leah Nan of Paradise; and nieces, Melissa, Savannah and Joni Matzinger.
Pallbearers will be: Jerry Stanfield, Robert Stanfield, Aaron Stanfield, Bryan Keener, Don Witt, and Lee Worley.
