Alfred Thomas Vanderhoof

Chico~Alfred Thomas VanDerhoof, 88, of Chico, went to be with our Lord on Monday, December 14, 2020 in Decatur.

The family will hold a service at a later date with interment in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.

Alfred was born on June 23, 1932 to Clarence and Ruth (Congleton) VanDerhoof in Hurdtown, New Jersey. He was a veteran and proudly served our country in the United States Army. Alfred was united in marriage to Audrey Mark on November 2, 1957 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Alfred was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Audrey VanDerhoof.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Cindy VanDerhoof and Suzie Millis and husband Mike; his grandchildren, Devin Millis, Kiersten Yost, Neval ElSayed, Omar ElSayed, Tamer ElSayed, Caitlin Scott, Aaron Millis, Adam ElSayed,  and Hasan ElSayed; his 6 great-grandchildren; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
