Alice Jean Bedore of Runaway Bay, Texas, passed away on January 30, 2022 in Decatur, Texas.
Visitation will be held at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas on Friday February 4, 2022 between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Funeral service will follow visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Wilcox of The Church of Breckenridge officiating. Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport is handling the funeral arrangements.
Alice Jean Bedore was born in Stockton, Kansas to Elmer Paul Bedore and Nelda Ruth Pemberton on June 5, 1949.
Alice is preceded in death by her father Elmer Paul Bedore and mother Nelda Ruth Starr and brother Fedon (Bedore) Starr.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Heather Terri Wilkins and daughter in law, Brandi Aline Mayers of Runaway Bay, and her son, Howard Paul Wilkins and daughter in law, Cindy Wilkins of Norman, Oklahoma. Sister, June and John Wood of Breckenridge; Brother, Dan and Bonnie Bedore of River Oaks; Brother, Lonnie and Tina Bedore of Peckham, Oklahoma; Brother, Kenny Bedore of Mason, Tennessee; Sister-in-Law, Jeanette Starr. Many nieces and nephews and friends.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Wise Health Systems and to all the nurses that took care of Alice. If you are so inclined to make a donation in her name you may do so to The Runaway Bay Volunteer Fire Department 101 Runaway Bay Drive, Runaway Bay, Texas.
