Alice Malone (Flinn) Brannon

Decatur ~ Alice Malone Brannon, 75, went to be with our Lord Monday, July 23, 2018 in Decatur.

Funeral is 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 27, 2018 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Slidell Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:30-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Bobby Cates will officiate. Pallbearers include Mike Sitz, Leslie Fortenberry, Blake Fortenberry, Shane Anderson, Ethan Anderson, and Josiah Anderson.

Alice was born on December 11, 1942 to Thomas and Ardena (Malone) Flinn in Decatur, Texas. She was united in marriage to Wesley Wayne Brannon on March 14, 1964 in Denton. Alice retired as a medical technologist in the medical field. She also retired from FEMA in disaster systems.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Janice Goode.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years, Wayne Brannon of Decatur; her daughters, Amy Meredith Anderson and husband Shane of Thibodeaux, Louisiana, Andrea Michelle Gross and husband Don of Detroit, Michigan; her grandchildren, Ethan, Josiah, Sam, Emma, John Mark, Reese, Clara, and Zakhary; aunts, uncles, numerous cousins and a host of friends.
