Alvord: Alice Irene Hill, 92, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord, Friday, January 4, 2013 in Decatur, Texas.
Funeral is 10 a.m. Thursday, January 10th at the First United Methodist Church in Alvord with Rev. Carolyn Allbritton officiating. Interment: Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Nathan Dahl, Richard Dupuy, Philip Hill, Robert Mitchell, James Rawls, and Marcus Smith.
Ms. Hill was born March 6, 1920 in Seneca Falls, New York to Leonard and Ethel Rhinehart. She was united in marriage to Daniel Cornelius Hill on April 5, 1942 in Coolidge, Texas. Ms. Hill was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Alvord.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Philip Hill of Alvord; two daughters, Danelle Hill of Alvord and Lisa Hill of Austin; sister, Lucy Rhinehart of New Baden, Illinois; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; other family members and a host of friends.
