Decatur: Allen Jay Rotter, 52, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and an air traffic controller, passed away peacefully, Friday, April 27, 2012 in Decatur.
Memorial service is 4 p.m. Thursday, May 3rd, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Denton, Texas, with Father Tim Thompson officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service.
Allen was born on November 6, 1959 in Houghton, Michigan to Roy Roger and Bonnie Carol (Rosene) Rotter.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Bonnie Fuller of Athelstane, Wisconsin; fiancee', Sandra Krall of Decatur; 2 sons, Jay and Charles Rotter of Fort Worth; daughter, Rachael Rotter of Fort Worth; 3 brothers, Dean Horvath of Gilbert, Arizona, Douglas Rotter of Berwick, Maine and Bryan Rotter of Herndon, Virginia; 2 sisters, Donna Wallace of Kansas City, Missouri, Julie Behnke of Athelstane, Wisconsin; 2 grandchildren, Benjamin Rotter and Hunter Davis.
