Allen Gregory Shrum

Graveside service is 2 p.m. Thursday, May 3rd at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Gerre Joiner officiating. Family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Greg was born on September 4, 1953 in Tyler, Texas to Arthur Virgil "Pete" and Mary Ann (Keown) Shrum. He was united in marriage to Carol Lynn Harvey on September 3, 1982 in Denton, Texas. Greg was the owner of Harts Creek Siding Company.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Carol Shrum of Denton; 2 daughters, Ashley Shrum of Denton and Kelsey Shrum of Bolivar; son, Tanner Shrum of Denton; brother, Avey Shrum of Cat Springs; and 2 grandaughters, Carrie Jackson and Kirra Shrum both of Denton.

Greg is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Travis Shrum.
