Allison (Binam) Nivens

Allison Nivens, 66, passed from this earth Wednesday, August 7th, 2024.

Memorial Service is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 29th, 2024 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Allison was born May 1st 1958 to Oliver and Irene (Nolting) Binam in Prineville, Oregon. She was united in marriage February 21st, 1986 to Jim Nivens in Odessa, Texas. Allison had received her Master’s Degree in teaching at the University of Texas at Arlington and taught many years at Richland Elementary before retiring. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Irene Binam.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Jim Nivens; her daughter, Beryl Call and husband James of Killeen; her son, Raley Nivens and wife Holly of Oak Point; her brothers, Keith Binam and wife Norma of Midland, and Kevin Binam and wife Adrian of Keiser, Oregon; her sister, Susan Cimmiotti of Mendocino, California; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
