AURORA - Alta Tedrow Moore, 95, a retired saleswoman, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, July 28, 2010, in Aurora.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Chapel with burial in Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4-6 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Chaplain Craig Rolen to officiate. Pallbearers: Cody Tedrow, Christian Tedrow, Jimmy Tedrow, Monte Tedrow, Bradley Tedrow, and Beral Tedrow.
Alta was born on May 22, 1915, to William and Sarah (Logan) Tedrow on Dead Man Mountain, located 10 miles north of Jacksboro in Jack County. She worked in retail sales totaling over 50 years at W.T. Grants, Woolworths, Leonards, Dillards, and Monnings Department stores.
Alta was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, Vestle, Buddie, Deward, and Warren Tedrow; and 1 sister, Eustace Hull.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sarah Goodwin and husband Douglas of Aurora; her granddaughter, Natalie Goodwin of Aurora; numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, a host of friends, and her Solaris Hospice family.
