Azle ~ Alton Wayne Davidson, Jr, 59, a truck driver, went to be with our Lord Sunday, June 26, 2011 in Granbury.
Graveside service is 9 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Tucker Cemetery in Chico. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pastor Robert Cornelius will officiate. Pallbearers are Shawn Belknap, Alton Castleberry, Michael Castleberry, Bobby Guinn, Raymond Davidson, and Daniel Davidson. Honorary pallbearers are Travis Davidson and Bobby Davidson.
Alton was born April 1, 1952 to Alton and Dora (Caraway) Davidson in Decatur. He married Diane Marie Woodard on May 9, 2008 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Alton served his country in the U.S. Army and was a truck driver for Loves. He was a member of the Church at Azle.
Alton was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Diane Davidson of Azle; his daughters, Tanya Davidson of Granbury and Brittney Myers of Groves, Texas; his sons, Travis Davidson and wife Patricia of Fort Worth; Shawn Belknap and wife Maria of Livingston and Trent Myers of Sulphur, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Sabrina Davidson, Zachary, Isiah, Joel, and Adam; his brothers, Raymond Davidson of Bowie and Bobby Davidson of Bridgeport; his sister, Reba Powers of Duncan, Oklahoma; his uncle, Edward Caraway and wife Peggy of Azle; his former wife and friend, Karin M. Davidson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
