Richardson ~ Alton Walter Johnson, 75, went to be with our Lord Monday, December 26, 2016 in Richardson.
Memorial service to be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Eisemann Center in Richardson.
Alton was born on September 16, 1941 to Bartley and Bertha (Betterton) Johnson in Abilene, Texas. He was united in marriage to Patricia Norton on November 6, 1981 in Houston. Alton was the former Richardson Parks & Recreation Director and the current Executive Director for the Richardson Improvement Corporation.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Sharon Ragle.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 35 years, Pat Johnson; his son, Devin Johnson and wife Nicole; his son, Dustin Johnson and wife Cheryl; his daughter, Sharmie Panagopoulos and husband Peter; his daughter, Lisa Zahn; his son, Michael Jackson and wife Susan; his son, Doug Jackson; his daughter, Mary Ward; his 12 grandchildren; his sister, Delores Walker; his sister-in-law, Carolyn Cole; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
