Decatur ~ Amber Lynn Ligon Green, 7, a student, went to be with our Lord Monday, December 21, 2015 in Fort Worth.
Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 24, 2015, at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Bridgeport with burial at Thomas Cemetery in Bridgeport, Texas. Family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Rev. Gary Demmitt will officiate. Pallbearers include Gregory Brown, Lance Coleman, Josh Adair, and Mark Baker.
Amber was born on September 23, 2008 to Kathleen Marie (Green) in Dallas, Texas.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her parents, Scott and Kathleen Gates of Decatur; her sister, Brittany Wooten; her grandparents, Lynda Green of Fort Worth, and Curtis and Linda Gates of Decatur; her uncle, Joel Ligon of Fort Worth; and a host of friends.
