Decatur ~ Angel Carrillo, 74, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in Keller.
Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2016 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church of Decatur with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday with Rosary 6:30 p.m. at the Hawkins Funeral Home Decatur.
Pastor Thomas Dsouza and Deacon Art Casias will officiate. Pallbearers include Ruben Carrillo, Bobby Carrillo, Angel Carrillo, Manuel Carrillo, Beto Fernandez and Fernando Carrillo.
Angel was born on September 15, 1942 to Fernando Carrillo and Maria Mendiola in Palmas Altas-Jerez, Zacatecas Mexico. He was united in marriage to Leonor Mares on December 30, 1966 in Jerez, Zacatecas. Angel retired from Lehigh Hanson as a Production Operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Isidro Carrillo, Antonio Carrillo.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Leonor Carrillo of Decatur; his sons, Ruben Carrillo and wife Erika of Keller, Angel Carrillo Jr. and wife Maria of Decatur, and Bobby Carrillo of Decatur; his grandchildren, Andrea Celine Carrillo, Angel “Trey” Carrillo III, Andrew Carrillo of Decatur, Ruben Angel Carrillo and Lauren Sofia Carrillo of Keller; his brothers, Manuel of Decatur, Trinidad of Decatur; his sisters, Angela Carrillo of Bridgeport, Margarita Sierra of Decatur, Guadalupe Caldera of Mexico, Natalia Fernandez of Decatur, Maria Carrillo of Mexico; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
