PARADISE -- Angel Fuqua, 43, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, in Fort Worth.
Graveside service: 4 p.m. Saturday in Paradise Cemetery. Family will receive friends: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Rev. Don Caldwell will officiate.
Angel was born on December 28, 1964 to Walter, Jr. and Gloria (Cowley) Grothe in Wichita Falls. She was a 1985 graduate of Paradise High School. She married Frank Fuqua on March 10, 2008 in Columbus, Georgia.
Angel was preceded in death by her father, Walter H. Grothe, Jr.
Left behind to cherish her memory is: her husband, Frank Fuqua of Paradise; mother, Gloria Shephard of Columbus, Georgia; grandmother, Pearl Grothe of Boulder, Colorado; sisters, Melvia Garlington and husband Gerald of Plano, June Duke and husband Bobby of Cataula, Georgia, Gloria Young and husband Austin of Richardson; brothers, Walton Grothe of Columbus, Georgia, Jimmy Grothe and wife Sharon of Cottondale, Rickey Shephard of Bridgeport, Jack Shephard and wife Carol of Wichita Falls, James Shephard and wife Diana of Wichita Falls.
