Angie Boyd

Bridgeport~ Angie Boyd, 53, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, September 3, 2020 in Bridgeport.

Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the Cates Street Church of Christ in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Brother Scott Strother will officiate.

Angelia Lea Boyd was born on March 22, 1967 to Kenneth T. Prince and Sandra K. Reed in Decatur, Texas. She was a homemaker who enjoyed raising and caring for her family. Angie was an avid quilter and loved to craft. She was a member of the Bridgeport Quilters Guild, Decatur Church of Christ and Cates Street Church of Christ. Angie was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carly; her grandparents, Bill and Opal Reed and Kenneth and Jewell Prince.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Darrell Boyd; her children, Joshua Boyd and  Emily Elliott and husband James; her grandchildren, Tristan Elliott and Madison Elliott; her parents, Sandy Smith and husband A.Z. and Kenneth Prince and wife Judy; her sisters, Sandey Prince and Kristin Pierce; her niece, Sara Brown; various cousins and aunts; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
