Aurora ~ Anita Nicholson Herrmann, 71, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in Fort Worth.
Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Aurora Baptist Church with burial in Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Aurora Baptist Church.
Rev. Jimmy Withers will officiate. Pallbearers include Shane Parson, Sara Parson, David Wood, Christopher Wood, Todd Herrmann, Jessica Musgrove, Billy Musgrove, and Amber Wood.
Anita was born on July 31, 1945 to Francis and Helen (Ramsey) Nicholson in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was united in marriage to James Herrmann on June 11, 1966 in Corpus Christi. Anita was a member of the Aurora Baptist Church, and Director of Nursery for over 17 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents;
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, Jim Herrmann of Aurora; her daughters, Tammy Herrmann of Aurora, Tina Sonnenberg and husband Mike of Puyallup, Washington; her grandchildren, Sara Parson and Shane, David Wood and Kristie, Christopher Wood and Jaimee, Todd Herrmann and Bethany, Jessica Musgrove and Billy, Amber Wood, Clayton Sonnenberg, Owen Sonnenberg; her great grandchildren, Maddie, Payton, Lela, Zylar, Zaiden, Kimber, and Natalie; her sisters, Florence Carrrigan and husband Aubrey of Corpus Christi, Elizabeth Sthle and husband Howard of Orange Grove, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
