Ann married Everett Lee Hicks Nov. 1, 1953 in Sulphur Springs, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Dolly Tanton; son, Gary Everett Hicks and brothers, Troy and ned Tanton. Survivors: Husband of 52 years, Everett Hicks; daughter, Rhonda Hicks McDonald and husband, Eddie; granddaughter, Tifani Lee Ann Hicks; step granddaughters, Tracye Spencer and Kristye McDonald; sisters, Velma Skelton, Valine Bradford, Jean Bilte; brothers, R.D., N.L., and Joseph Tanton; sisters-in-law, Jean Ray, Margorie Isom, Nell Admire;and numerous nieces and nephews. Ann considered Lori Carter and her daughters, Skylar and Cara Davis and Tory Carter, as well as Donna Archer and her daughter Stephanie as her family.
