Anna Geraldine (Gonce) Benson

Paradise ~ Anna Geraldine Benson, 87, went to be with our Lord Sunday, April 8, 2018 in Paradise.

Graveside service is Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Azleland Cemetery.  No set visitation.

Rev. Jack Skidmore will officiate.

Anna was born to Worney Sr. and Lena (Paulson) Gonce on April 15, 1930 in Centerville.  She was united in marriage on July 7 to Truman Marshall Benson in Fort Worth.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughters, Shirley Walker and Catherine James; her granddaughter, Twila Sharp; her brothers, Charles, Worney, Jerry, Lewis, and Worney "Red" Gonce.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are daughter, Barbara Thompson and Galen Cox of Paradise, her grandchildren, Trudy Gilbreath and husband Jerry of Paradise, Tony Gravely of Paradise, Laura Banks of Fort Worth, Tommie Walker of Fort Worth, Jason Walker of Dallas, and Michelle Reagan of Decatur; her great grandchildren, Lexi Gilbreath, Denim Gilbreath, Ashley Gravely, Hunter Gravely, Marshall Boykin, Wyatt Boykin, Michael Walker, Elizabeth, Jared, Christopher Walker, and Kaidence Walker; her great-great grandchild, Landon McGaha; her sisters, Nancy Lowe and husband Ramond of Dimmitt, Elaine Lovell of Mart, Thelma Arnold of Amarillo, and Linda Netherlands of Mart; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
