Anna Adell (Howard) Clark

On October 5th, 2023, the spirit of Anna Adell Clark flew to Heaven.

Graveside Service is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Greenwood Cemetery in Greenwood, Texas. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Anna is survived by her children, Dennis Clark of Ft. Worth, David Clark (and his husband, Bryan Caletka), Judy Pena of Justin and Robert Elmore (whom she thought of as a son.) She is also survived by her sister, Mattie Graham of Burleson and her brother, Wille Joe Howard of Alvord; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Hazel (Truitt) Howard; her sister, Maureen Lovejoy; and husband,  Prentiss Dwayne Clark, and her daughter, Ja’Nice Carter

Anna was a devoted mother and retired teacher’s aide. Along with raising four children, she also raised her granddaughter, Jenny Clark and her great-granddaughter, Isabella Lewis (whom she loved above all others but God.) Anna was voted most likely to be whistled at in High School. She enjoyed game shows, word find puzzles and feeding the birds. Now she soars with the Angels. May your wings be heavy!
