Weatherford ~ Anna E. Lankford, 82, went to be with our Lord Thursday, September 15, 2022 in Weatherford.

Graveside Service is 2 PM Monday at Paradise Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Rev. Corey Wynns will officiate.

Anna was born on December 12, 1939 in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania and was raised by her parents Ray and Mollie Cirkles. Anna was united in marriage to Claude V. Lankford on April 12, 1957 in Glendale, Arizona. She retired from the medical field as a CNA and instrument technician, and was a member of the Crossing Fellowship Church in Azle. Anna was a beloved mother, grandmother of 3 generations, sister, aunt and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Mollie Cirkles; her husband, Claude Lankford; 2 sons, Dennis and Fred Lankford; 2 great-grandchildren, Camilla Lankford and Isiah Gelaya; 3 brothers, Chuck and Dixie Ramey, and Danny Cirkles; and 2 sisters, Cleta Gibson and Joanie Green.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are 3 sons, Claude V. Lankford, Jr. and wife Shelly of Camp Verde, Arizona, Thomas Lankford of Granbury, and Art Lankford and April of Weatherford; 2 daughters, Cindy Lankford and Chris of Granbury and Ruth Ann Lankford of Weatherford; 21 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Doug Ramey of Burnet; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
