Crafton ~ Aubrey L. Pool, 77, a loving husband and father, went to be with our Lord Sunday, May 15, 2016 in Chico.
Funeral is 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Crafton First Baptist Church with burial in Crafton Norwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Rev. Tom Merritt will officiate. Pallbearers include Keith Pool, Kevin Pool, Bobby Patterson, Devin Pool, Kyler Pool, and Craig Moss. Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Bradley, and Josh Richardson.
Aubrey was born on October 30, 1938 to Ervin and Pearl (Hight) Pool in London, Texas. He was united in marriage to Carol Harris on October 19, 1979 in San Angelo. Aubrey was a member of the Crafton First Baptist Church. He was a heavy equipment operator for Craig Moss Backhoe Services.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Damen Pool.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 36 years, Carol Pool of Chico; his sons, Keith Pool and wife Rhonda of Lubbock, Kevin Pool and wife Patricia of San Angelo; his step-daughter, Jo Bradley and husband Chris of Lubbock; his grandchildren, Devin Pool, Kyler Pool, Myndee Pool, Kelea Pool, Ashlea Pool, Lauren Pool, Kenneth Hagerton, Elizabeth VanNetta, Christopher Bradley, and Jeremy Bradley; 6 great grandchildren; his sister, Clara D. Williamson of San Angelo; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
