Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials: in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or The Salvation Army. Survivors: Husband, Jack Martin of Bridgeport; daughter, Katie Schrader and husband Kenneth of Cordele, Georgia; sons, Lt. Col. Joel Martin and wife Lori of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Donovan Martin and wife Kristi of Lubbock, Texas and Master Sgt. Brian Martind and wife Michelle of Crestview, Florida; eight grandchildren; 7 brothers, Dennis, George, Larry, James, John, Jody, and Richard Simpson; 3 sisters, DeAnna McNeal, Robin Simpson, and Dorrenne Kingham.
