Barbara Ann Kemper

Paradise~ Barbara Ann Kemper, 83 went to be with our Lord Monday April 17, 2023.

Memorial service is 11:00 a.m. Saturday April 29, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Barbara was born June 26, 1939 in Dallas, Texas to John M. and Dorothy K. (Murphy) Hunter. She attended Fort Worth ISD, and worked as a caregiver in nursery schools in the Irving, Texas area. Barbara was a devoted Methodist who enjoyed music and reading scriptures. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband LeRoy Kemper Jr.; her brother, Cecil Hunter; her grandson David Douglas; and her great grandson, Eric Leasman.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Debra Kemper, Donna Kemper, and Dena Coles and husband Kenneth; her son; LeRoy Kemper III; her grandchildren, Donovon, Katie, Sarah, Misti, Samantha, Amanda and Christopher. 10 great grandchildren;1her sister Annette Raley; her brothers, James Hunter and John Hunter; numerous nieces, nephews and a host friends.
