Barbara Ann (Meek) Empey

Decatur ~ Barbara Ann Empey, 76, went to be with our Lord Monday, November 1, 2021.

Barbara was born December 24, 1944 to Roy and Mamie Jewell (Robertson) Meek in Lewisville, Texas. She was united in marriage to Frank Empey. Barbara was a retired computer hardware technician after many years in the technology industry. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mamie Meek; her brothers, Bobby Meek and Robert Meek; and her sister, Patricia Harrington.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Frank Empey of Decatur; her sons, Bryan Elledge and his wife Connie Elledge of Little Elm, and Phillip Elledge and wife Brenda of Glenn Heights; 7 Grandchildren, Angel, Joseph, Jasmine, Joshua, Riley, Reed, and Rowdy; 1 great-grandchild, Elijah; brother, Clay Meek; numerous extended family members, and a host of friends. Barbara was blessing to many and will be dearly missed.
