Barbara (Newton) Grinnell
September 30, 1940 — December 15, 2015
Jacksboro ~ Barbara Grinnell (Newton), 75, formerly of Bridgeport, became our guardian angel, December 15, 2015 in Jacksboro.
Memorial service is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport.
Chaplain Bryan Ray will officiate.
Barbara was born on September 30, 1940 to Robert and Lois (Watkins) Grinnell in Hobart, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Barbara retired from Lone Star Gas in Bridgeport where she worked for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Lois Grinnell.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Robin Newton Couture and husband Bob of Hondo, Texas; her grandson, Taylor, also of Hondo; her daughter, Melanie Newton Loesch and husband Robert of Littleton, Colorado; her grandsons, Brayden, Gavin and Bobby also of Littleton; other family members and a host of friends.
