Barbara Ann McCleskey Killough, 76 went to be with our Lord Monday June 12, 2023 in Fort Worth Texas.
Funeral is 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd with burial following at Dido Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Officiant is James Blackwood. Pallbearers include Clayton Hall, Jerry Taylor, Justin Davis, Brett Davis, Rusty Peace, Zachary Brown and honorary pallbearers include Ed Hawthorn and John Torres.
Barbara was born November 17, 1946 to Paul Herbert and Myrtle (Hallum) McCleskey in Lubbock, Texas. Barbara was united in marriage to Clifford Dean Killough until his passing in 1989. She was a cook for the Northwest ISD, as well as a homemaker. Barbara belonged to the Grace Baptist Church and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary with the Newark Fire Department and she was proud to have lived in Newark since 1969.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Dean Killough; her parents; and her brothers, Cecil Charles and Leonard McCleskey.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Cliff Dean Jr. Killough and wife Kathy of Newark, Jay Lynn Killough and wife Dawn of Newark, Clayton Dean Hall and wife Fernanda of Newark, Mark Killough and wife Sharon of Newark; Daughter Karen Ann Antwine of Mesquite; Grandchildren, Reva C Killough, Taya Antwine, Tanaiya Antwine, Zach Brown, Tiffany Miller, Aaron Hall, Allysson Hall; 4 great grandchildren; her brother, Paul Wayne McCleskey; and sister-in-law, Paula McCleskey; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
