Barbara (Barclay) Klein

Alvord ~ Barbara Klein, 78, a retired secretary for the City of Alvord, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in Alvord, Texas.

Graveside service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Barbara was born February 22, 1940 to Johnny and Bobbye Barclay in Decatur, Texas. She married David Klein on October 12, 1957 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. They were married 60 years until his passing in August of 2018.

Those left behind to cherish her memory is her son, Jerry Klein and wife Tammie of Alvord; her grandchildren, Paige, Jacob, and Ransom Klein; mother, Bobbie Barclay of Alvord;  sister, Cissy Barclay of Alvord;  brother, Larry Barclay of Forestburg; numerous extended family and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and her husband.
