Chico ~ Barbara Kulak Fisher, 77, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, January 22, 2025 in Chico, Texas.
Barbara was born on April 4, 1947 to John and Arlene (Kelly) Schreiner in Syracuse, New York. She was united in marriage to Rickie Fisher on March 20, 2005 in Decatur, Texas. Barbara retired from the General Motors Corporation where she worked in the Plastics Injection Division. She loved cooking and traveling and enjoyed her life-long passion for arts and crafts including quilting, woodworking, and teddy bear making, which won her many accolades, including first prize at the New York State Fair. Barbara was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to many that will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Arlene Schreiner; sister, Christine (Gene) Shelley; and in-laws, Betty and Virgil Oates.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 19 years, Rickie Fisher of Chico, Texas; her sons, John Livignale of Syracuse, New York and Scott Livignale of Atlanta, Georgia; her step-daughter, Geri Long of Chico, Texas; her sisters, Doreen Schreiner of Syracuse, New York and Terri (Bob) Davis of Exeter, New Hampshire; her grandson, Joshua (Juleigha) Guerin; her great-grandchildren, Mason and Rayella; and step grand-daughter Scarlet; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
