RUNAWAY BAY -- Barbara Macomb, 52, a devoted mother and homemaker, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005 in Dallas. Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Eternal Oaks Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Barbara was born March 30, 1953 in Houston to Allen and Marion Paul Burr. She married Rick Macomb June 14, 1974. Barbara was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bridgeport, a recipient of the Dr. Hunter Humanatarian Award, volunteer for the Bridgeport ISD, and past president of the Wise County Soccer Assc. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors: Husband of 31 years, Rick Macomb; sons, Ryan Macomb and wife, Ann of Blaine, Minnesota and Jason Macomb of Ft. Worth; mother, Marion Burr of Runaway Bay; brother, Paul Burr of Runaway Bay; sister, Beverly Wagner and husband, Sid of Carrollton; step-brothers, Jack Burr and wife, Susan and John Burr and wife, Ruth, nieces, Kristin Smith and husband, Terry, Debbie, Cindy, Kimberly and Stephinie; and nephew, John.
