Runaway Bay ~ Barbara Terry, 79, a retired beauty operator, went to be with our Lord Saturday October 3, 2015 in Decatur, Texas.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial at Eternal Oaks Cemetery in Runaway Bay.  Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home.

Rev. Richard Giller will officiate. Pallbearers include Matthew Peterson, Noah Peterson, JT Fallon, Brendin Fallon, Jimmy Fallon, Diego Rojo and Mickye Fallon.

Barbara was born in Asherton, Texas on November 20, 1935 to Frances and Telma (Cox) Giller. She graduated high school from Pearsall, Texas and graduated from beautician school in San Antonio. Barbara married Danny J. Terry on June 3, 1956 in Pearsall, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Runaway Bay.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Telma Giller; and her brother, Don Giller.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 59 years, Danny J. Terry of Runaway Bay; her son, Duffy Terry of Runaway Bay; her daughter, Diane Terry Peterson of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, Richele Terry of Chico, Belinda Fallon and husband Jimmy of Iowa Park, Justin Terry and wife Christa of Runaway Bay, Matthew Peterson of Bridgeport, Noah Peterson of Bridgeport, and Rachel Peterson of Bridgeport; 8 great grandchildren; her brother, Marc Dean Giller and wife Amparo of Lago Vista, Texas; her sister, Florrie Martin and husband Homer of Carrizo Springs, Texas; her brother, Richard Giller and wife Patricia of Runaway Bay; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.
