Barbara Jean Winn

We celebrate the life of Barbara Jean Winn who went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2025, at the age of 89. 

 Funeral is 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, at First Baptist Church in Decatur with burial following at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

 She was born November 24, 1935, in Encino, Texas, to Leslie and Pruvia (Davis) Smith. She was united in marriage March 15, 1982, to Clarence Lee Winn in Spring, Texas. Barbara was member of First Baptist Church in Decatur for many years. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many who will dearly miss her.

 Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Pruvia Smith.

 Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Clarence Winn of Ft. Worth; her daughters, Melanie Wilson and husband Jim of Alabama, Melissa Saulnier of Alaska, Sherry Winn of Montana and Pam Winn of Ft. Worth; her son Tom Winn and wife Donna of Burleson; 6 grandchildren, Veronica, Buddy, Hope, Candace, Tyler and Tristan; 8 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Beth, Elaine, Lynn, and Louise; extended family and a host of friends.

 Barbara's kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith in Jesus will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and faith that will continue to inspire us all.
