Bessie was preceded in death by her husband Sammy Survivors: Sons, Sammy Kidd and wife, Kathy, of Paradise, Robert Melson and wife, Annette, of Paradise and Johnny Melson and wife, Deanna, of Decatur; grandchildren, Mike and Jenni Kidd; sisters, Elizabeth Bullard and Mary Holt and husband, Dan; and brother, Ronnie Johnson.
