DECATUR-- Bessie Ellen Stevens, 92, a Homemaker, died Sunday, April 15, 2007 in Decatur, TX.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, in Decatur, TX. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Officiating: Rev. Charles Taylor. Pallbearers: Bill Lampman, Dennis Edwards, A.C. Griffin, Jack Tennison, Jack Jegelewicz and Joshua Stevens.
Mrs. Stevens was the daugher of Buck Andrew Harvey and Sarah Lee Anderson. She was born in Dickens, TX. Bessie married Raymon Stevens on September 26, 1942. She was a lifetime resident of Wise County.
Survivors: Son, James Harvey Stevens and wife Carolyn of Decatur; Sister, Jean Williams and husband Jimmy of Lubbock; Grandchildren, Cindy Andrews, Tammy Stevens, Sarah Stevens, Joshua Stevens; Great-granddaughter, Emma Grace Andrews.
