Boyd ~ Beth Williams, 79, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, March 10, 2020 in Bridgeport.
Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home Boyd with burial in Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Rev. Terry Terry will officiate. Pallbearers include David Carlton, Jeff Hansen, Sean Kenjura, David Scroggins, Terry Vaughn, and Derrick Vaughn.
Beth was born on April 5, 1940 to Jack and Linda (Scroggins) Hall in Decatur, Texas. She was united in marriage to Jimmy Williams on October 17, 1958 in Azle, Texas. Beth was a member of Church of Christ in Boyd.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 56 years, Jimmy Williams; daughter, Norma Jay Williams; and sister, Linda Jean Hall.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Joni D’Ann Watson of Roanoke, Jimmy Williams of Boyd, Johnny Williams of Boyd, and Lynn White and husband Chad of Bridgeport; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; little sister, Susie Richardson of Bridgeport; other relatives and a host of friends.
