CHICO -- Betsy Cox, 83, of Chico, went to be with our Lord on Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at her home in Chico.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Chapel. Burial: Chico Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 1 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Larry Potts will officiate. Pallbearers: Larry Cox, Jack B. Cox, Jr., Mitch Terrell, Terry Cross, Travis Cox, and Roger Beasley.
Betsy was born on October 19, 1925, the daughter of John Q., Sr. and Katherine Lena (Belew) Cox in Chico.
She was a retired bank teller for Continental Bank in Fort Worth. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Betsy was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jack B. and Bill P. Cox.
Left behind to cherish her memory is: Brothers, John Q. Cox, Jr. and wife, Donilla of Chico, Jimmy B. Cox and wife, Gladys of Chico; and numerous nieces and nephews.
