Betty Marie Cobb

Paradise ~ Betty Marie Cobb, 87, went to be with our Lord Monday February 25, 2019 in Decatur.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport, with burial in Paradise Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home Bridgeport.

Charles Pugh will officiate. Pallbearers include Brandon Cobb, Jason Cobb, Michael Stinnett, Donny Slimp, Randy Cobb, Lance Stinnett, Josh Jenkins, and Marc Ramirez.

Betty was born on April 29, 1931 to W.V. and Pearl M. (McDaniel) Martin in Bridgeport. She was united in marriage to John Archie Cobb on September 10, 1949, in Paradise. She was retired from Paradise ISD, and a member of Cottondale Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John Cobb; her grandson, Timothy Cobb, and her great-granddaughter, Paige Davila.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Brenda Stinnett and husband Hershell of Paradise; her sons, Leon Cobb and wife Susan of Chico, David Cobb and wife Sandy of Decatur, Sam Cobb and wife Sandra of Kansas, and Terry Cobb of Paradise; her grandchildren, Noah, Savannah, Tyler, Diane, Randy, Jason, Malachi, Christian, Stephanie, Shanna, Brandon, Kasie, Jason, Brian, and Donnie; her 13 great-grandchildren; her one great-great-grandchild; her sisters, Shirley McNeil, Bobbie Read, Reba McKeever; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
