West Tawakoni ~ Betty Ruth Dennis, 83, formally of Boyd, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Sunday, February 5, 2017 in Tyler.
Graveside service is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Boonsville Cemetery. No family visitation.
Rev. Mark Autry will officiate.
Betty was born on November 12, 1933 to J.D. and Mary (Hoppy) Cox in Bridgeport. She was united in marriage to Winston Dennis on March 19, 1959 in Fort Worth. Betty was a member of the Greater Vision Church in West Tawakoni.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Robert Cox.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years, Winston Dennis; her sons, Terry Dennis and wife Tracy and Winston Dennis Jr.; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; her sisters, Janice Winnett and Laura Jane Dixon and husband Doyle; other family members and a host of friends.
