Lake Bridgeport ~ Betty Ann Gibbons, 71, went to be with or Lord Tuesday, March 31, 2020 in Lake Bridgeport.

Memorial will be held at a future date.

Betty was born on November 2, 1948 to Ola and Fanny (Steele) Payne. She was united in marriage to Jay Gibbons on February 22, 2008 in Bridgeport, Texas. Betty was a waitress and a handywoman working alongside her husband Jay for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her loving husband Jay Carl Gibbons.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son Duwayne Jones; her daughters, Michele Jones, Theresa Jones, and Rebecca Jones; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, and her brother, Lloyd Payne.
